I've been looking around for a bike for my wife Jo. She has a full licence so size of bike does'nt matter.
A 2nd. hand America or Speedmaster is out of the question (Financies at present).

I have a chance of getting my hands on a 1995 Thunderbird with 57000 Klms. on the clock.

Having no experience with this model I was wondering what to look for and what to be aware of when I go and look at it?

I had a 95 Thunderbird and it was one of those bike that when you sell it you think 'what have you done you plonker!' Mine was unbustable, the only main problem is if the starter clutch (think thats what its called) goes because thats an engine strip job but apart from that it was fantastic. I would buy another in a hear beat.

Hope it goes well
Jock

The Thunderbird and Thunderbird Sport are excellent bikes. I think they should have renamed them Trident and kept them in production.

That's a great bike, but it's a lot hotter than a America/Speedy. If Jo decides to get the Thunderbird do not race Jo, you will lose badly. I repeat, do not race Jo.

I have enough of a hard time catching her without wheels.

Boy when I do.

Apart from that guys, thanks for the comments about the Thunderbird.
