Just got back from vacation with the Mrs... Took a trip to Florida to visit some relatives and took a short 4 day cruise out of Tampa over to Cozumel. The highlight was taking the 'Harley tour' of Cozumel through Sand Dollar Sports. Had a couple of great tour guides (Willy and Carlos ) and 6 other riders. Basically was a 5 hour ride around the island of Cozumel, hitting the various Mayan ruins, a nice lunch and general cruising about. For those of us Yanks, it was great to be back in the saddle, even if was on a Sportster 1200C. Anyway, if you ever end up in Cozumel, think about the tour, great way to spend the day and get away from all of the tourist junk and see some amazing scenery. The east side of the island coastline is largely undisturbed other than a few beaches with clothing optional.

A final observation:
Nude beaches are not what they are cracked up to be. There were things on display there that disturbing at best...

It was $295 for me and $50 for the Mrs (pillion). That was booked through the cruise line, so I would be willing to bet if you called them direct it would be a good deal less than that. Only requirement is a valid Motorcycle endorsement on your license, they provide skid lids.
