i've had a search but cant find how to remove my wheel bearings on my 06 speedmaster without damaging them, do i need a tool or can they be drifted out? i want to powder coat wheels so bearing need to be out, any help appreciated

you need to knock them out and put new ones but do not buy them from triumph dealer(price)

Yes, it can be possible to reuse them, but if an unknown flaw does occur, it could present itself at speed.
I hate it when that happens...

I can't speak for their product quality control. Could well be Chinese junk. The ones I bought from allballs were unmarked besides the size stamps. On the other hand, even some of the well known old school brands, like Fafnir & Timken, are often labeled "Made in China."

We can thank Nixon for China.

You should never reuse a bearing that has been knocked out. The tapping procedure causes microscopic flaws in the contact surface that will cause early failure. I have not looked at our wheel bearings but most bearings have a number to ID them and you can cross that to a bearing of your choice from a differnt supplier/manufacturer. If no number exists all you need is the type,OD,ID, and thickness to order one.
