It is. I'm trying out the jcwhitney short turnouts and I'm down to around 100 miles per tank. Lookin for a little better mileage and a decibel or 30 lower.

Might try posting this in the Lounge since it has nothing to do with debaffling pipes and you would get more response.

I'm pretty sure this person is a spammer. I'm talking to the other mods about getting the account deleted.

dont do it its cheaper and easier to go to the local muffle shop and buy some chrome tips. they come in all sizes shapes and lengths and they are not to expensive about half the price of one tor.

I still have the last version that was sent out. No one has requested it, nor have I really announced that I am done with it either. I shall start a new thread and see if anyone wants it.

.....here is a photo of the tools that I made to remove my rear baffle and drill the next one......the hole saw pilots on the baffle's spout....it was assembled and welded on a lathe and removed my rear baffles in less than 2 minutes!

On a lathe? That's way too fancy for this joint.

Don't ask me, I just discovered fire. Getting back on topic, I think I remember reading that the Gunter saw was available again?

.....if you don't care for working on a lathe, then, you're not going to like the way I made the looooooong 1/2" drill either...I bought a 1/2" drill with a 3/8" shank - then drilled a 3/8" hole in the center of a piece of 1/2" round stock - again on the lathe, and soldered the drill into the round stock.....instant 24" drill.....

You guys a psycotic. making tools, and putting all this work into something totaly not necessary. besides you can get nearly $200.00 for the stock pipes. I do have to admit I love the enginuity and the craziness.

I said nearly 150 is close. believe it or not you can sell the stock pipes. There are those who want them for replacing damaged ones.
