Pat,I had a T120R,it was the first new bike I ever ownd.I bought it when I first got back from my second tour in Nam.I was still in the Army and road it to and from Fort Lenardwood to northern Indiana. It never let me down and was always up for a long ride when ever I was ready to go.The thred tonight about Amal carb tickleing got me to thinking about her and how reliable she was even with Lucas Electrics.Yours has a niffty 70`s style paint job, realy enjoyed seeing her!!

This was in fact my introduction to Triumph at the age of around 22 I think it was. After that I went back to Jap bikes but always missed something. I could always remember how well this bike handled compared to my Jap bikes. AND the best thing it just went, you could basically fix it on the side of the road with a piece of wire. I would retune it as I changed altitude along the road without any problems. Change the mixture and even the timing as I road. It sure did bring back found memories when I found this info on the net.

My first Triumph was a '74 Bonneville. I bought it when the shop owner all but threatened to kill me if I bought a Japanese bike (he was a WWII vet). I loved everything about it up to the day I was hit on it. The bike was totally destroyed, and I had just a few scratches. Soooo, I went back to the same shop and bought my second Triumph, a '71 Daytona. I loved it until it was stolen. I hope I have better luck with my current bike, a 2004 TBA.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

Here's a thread derail, but here's more crucial information about Chuck Norris:

Wow she looks like new. You have obviously looked after her quite well. Brings back good memories this does.
