Soooo...I suppose nobody around here is old enough to remember Norton's questionable attempt to cash in on the chopper craze back in the 1970s with their "Hi Rider" model, eh?!
(well...I'll give ya three guesses at what I think that BA looks a lot like!)

Looks like he also lost the console. I wouldn't mind seeing a top view to see if he just took it off or redid the tank.

Perhaps it is comfortable? I don't think so... well unless you mean after the circulation in yer arms dies out and you can't feel 'em anymore.
But the dude's cool beyond a doubt!

I have a real problem knocking someone else's artistic tastes and expressions. However, that sorry looking bag of bolts has certainly eased my reluctance.
You're right Dwight - That is reminisent of something. Fortunately, I've blocked most of it from my memory.
Somehow, I imagine someone very akin to a character in an Archie cartoon hopping on that puppy and riding into the sunset.
If the boys in Easy Rider rode that in the movie, the shooting scene would have occurred in Act I.
Then again, all trends are started by trend setters, and all trends re-cycle.
That's about all I have to say.

Uh huh, suuuuure it does, Ron!(the BA in question here looking like Fonda's bike in that movie, that is)
Uh huh, I mean just roll up the thread and look at that glistening Panhead motor in that BA, not to mention it's hardtail frame, AND of course not to ALSO mention that long springer front end on that BA TOO!!!
Uh huh, suuuuure it looks "just like" that stretched out HARLEY which that Redneck in that truck blasted away at just before the credits started rolling in that flick!
(uh huh, suuuuuure!..."much more" than that OTHER parallel-twin BRITBIKE with those mini-apes, standard length telescopic forks, swingarm suspension and elongated banana seat that rises up at the back which you supplied us a picture of here...uh huh, suuuuuure!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

You guys are mean. What if those couple of owners are now former lurkers of this site after reading this thread?

Eeh, I wouldn't worry about that, Dave. It appears nobody really reads this stuff anyway!
Yep, ya see, in my retort to Ron about that BA looking more like the Norton Hi-Rider than it does his suggestion that it looks like Fonda's Captain America bike, I erroneously stated that Fonda's bike had a springer front end, and yet NONE of you dunderheads about here called me on that!!!
And so dude, like I was sayin', evidently nobody reads this stuff around here!!!
(of course an alternate theory here is just that nobody reads MY STUFF around here!!!)

while i say "to each his own" when it comes to gear (Im not one of those ATGATT nuts and refuse to be.. I live in NY dammit and want to enjoy good weather) I believe if yer leanin yer BA over far enough to scrape those knee pucks, its because you used all the functioning surface of yer tire and are currently on yer way to a rendezvous with a tree.
