I've been following the journey of 2 guys from Norway. They are traveling the world on 70 year old Nimbus bikes with side cars and after 8-10 months on the road, are now in NYC with clutch issues. You get the whole story on their website KCCD Tormod is on Facebook

After the bikes are up and running, the compass is set for the Tail of the Dragon. I've offered food, drink, beds, and garage for them if they choose, since we're only a few hours south. I'm looking for folks in the southern portion of the US that might offer up support on their travels towards Mexico.

It's a great adventure, history in the making.

Hey George, that would be totally cool if you could hook up with those guys. Imagine the stories? And I also think it's pretty cool you're willing to help 'em out. What goes around comes around!!

I live on the Mason Dixon line just southeast of Gettysburg pa.
not sure what route they are taking but I am a couple of hours south west of NYC and could give them a place to sleep for the night.I may be able to clear enough room in the garage for 2 side car rigs.

I'm not sure of their route south either, but I'm hoping they can spend the night, just so I can hear their story.

Pete, awesome offer but you will need to contact them directly through the web link in the original post. Thanks for posting.

100+ peaks on this thread, any mid west offers?
