someone put up a step by step post about how to remove the fork shrouds and I can't find it. If someone who knows how to use the search function better than me I would appreciate it.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

It's actually pretty easy. Get the bike high up on a stand first, tie her down good.
- Pull the front wheel and fender. - Loosen all triple tree fasteners - Slide each fork out - Remove the shroud.
You can pull it all as one unit, while I've done that (and the install) I don't recommend that without an extra pair of hands.
I'm in NJ tomorrow night, was going to take in a movie - need a hand? <g>

I just get bored at hotels. A chance to work on a bike, I'll take that any day.
