I was looking for a set of stands to store my TBA on for the winter. I really just wanted to get the weight of the tires and suspension. My friend just picked up a set for his sport bike, there manual one for the front and one for the back and wanted to know would they work on our bikes? if not does anyone make them for our bikes? Thanks

Tell you what... tomorrow I'll grab some pics of my bike up on a homemade 'stand' that's super low-tech yet effective.

I just have a bike lift from Canadian tire. should be the same as the one from Sears. I pop my bike up on it and plug in the battery tender and it's good all winter in my non-heated garage. the lift raises the bike from the frame so it unloads the forks and rear suspension and with the tires off of the cement floor they don't lose too much psi over the winter either.

Okay, here's that low-tech stand. It's not an original idea... I found out about it since being here so maybe it was a member from ba.com that thought of it first. His was a bit fancier with a fitting attached that a pipe threaded into. Mine is just a hole that I stick the pipe through to tip the stand upright. Ummmm, it's 8.5" high.

On the other hand, you could always try this inexpensive option which one of our members guided me to LOL. FWIW, I do plan on buying one of these one day but it's a matter of priorities first. big blue bike lift
