Running a heavier gauge wire from the regulator directly to the battery got me charging 14 volts all the time, which should be plenty to run grips and a jacket. I have no problems with heated gloves and a lightbar. Besides, if you're going to Florida, you won't need the heated stuff all the time! Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.
