Is there any feedback/opinions/forums page on the new Thunderbird? Does anyone know if there is a page dedicated to the Thunderbird like this page is for the America?

Thanks

I think everyone on this site, except me and Bedoouin hate them. I've ridden one for a short test ride and kind of like it. It doesn't feel as heavy as it is and has a low maintenance belt drive. There is a small buzz in the handlebars but the guys on the T-bird site says it goes away after break in. I also think it is good looking and a great alternative to a Harley. There may even be one in my garage in the near future.

I don't hate them. It wouldn't be the second bike in my garage and maybe not the third, but there's a spot somewhere...

I don't hate it either. I did notice the handlebar buzz, but if that goes away, cool! I just don't pine for one like my America. But it is a pretty decent bike, and the limited paint colors are nice, it looks good. Maybe if I never owned my bike and this was my first Triumph cruiser it would be different.

If I wanted a bike that big, I'd get a T-Bird for sure. But I don't.

I like 'em good enough-they sure enough do handle as well as the press says. But Triumph needed this bike. I can't tell you how many think the 865 is too small (we know better) and the R3 is, well, it is what it is. I love mine but it is a limited appeal type bike. LOTS of potential Triumph riders walked out of the showroom when 865 or 2300 was the only choice. Now, it's "nice bike, but not like my brother-in-laws Harley!"
If they only knew.....

Yep fellas, I agree! Yep, I think the overall bike IS a pretty package too!

You see, while I USED to make those constant little jokes about a certain part of the T-Bird that I thought was a slight aesthetic oversight, I'm now ALL over that! Nope, no more of those snide little remarks comin' from me anymore.

(oh BTW, I need some change here fellas....

....would anybody happen to have two fins for this 10 spot here????)

Very finny Dwight... very finny. Oh poop... look at that typo! With the 'u' and the 'i' being right beside each other like that, it's easy to do.

'Hate' is a word I believe, that should never show up in the Triumphulary.

I don't hate them either but they are the last twin I would want to own out of the line of twins. I would like an R3T before one too but I think the Tbird falls next then. I would also own any vintage Triumph before the Tbird.

Now don't tell me here, Ian...lemme guess!

Would that possibly be somethin' like a 1937 Triumph Speed Twin maybe???!!!

Yep, not a bad choice there, I might! add

(however, I hope you realize that that beautiful old piece of british iron probably ain't gonna be quite as reliable as this new kickstarter-less T-Bird is gonna be, RIGHT?!)
