I am about to fit up some new indicators/flashers. I see they have 10W lamps. My question is do I need to replace the flasher unit? The stock is a Hella 12V. 2(4)X21W21W+0...5W. I have taken the indicators down to have an earth wire fitted and plug ends fitted. The Auto-electrician said I may have to get an electronic flasher unit as they only draw 10W. I'm thinking this one may do the job. I have tried to get some 21W lamps to fit but they are all to large.

I'd hook it up first and find out before I went and bought another flasher; it's not like you'd have to reinstall the tank to do a test...

Well I got my flashers back from the A.A. and fitted them up. I had a look at the stock lamps. They flashed but rather too fast. Then I had a look at the lamps off the stock lamps and confirmed they were 21W. The new lamps were not the minibase type. I ended up buying a Bosch P122 Electronic flasher for $27. The new ones were very good buying and now I know why. Haha.
