Shoot, maybe we should just drink the Coolaide and buy Harley's. A Harley Davidson is like a Zombie in most of the movies I've seen. It is slow and lumbering but no matter where you turn you CAN'T GET AWAY!!!!!

That's the way I feel about YAMAHAS (sorry Rev, just couldn't resist... well yes I could, but just didn't want to)!

That's not how I read it. "H-D takes competitive trade-ins plus $500 towards a new Harley."
It sounds to me like they'll take your bike plus an extra $500, then sell you the $30,000 HD.

Funny stuff, but it is not accurate. I doubt there is a motorcycle brand that is shoved into more awkward places than Harley. The only other company that I can think of that plasters its brand as much would be Coke.
I’m not much of a brand person. I don’t mind brands and if folks would make a shirt a little cheaper for me to walk around like a sandwich board I would be glad to oblige. Unfortunately too many people have the wrong idea and pay extra to wear an advertisement. Such as folks who pay the $600 Indian charges for their $200 bomber jackets because the logo is on the back.
I’m not saying that I don’t wear anything with a logo, nor would I say that I am not brand specific about certain things. What I will say is that I do not buy a product, nor advertise it, just because the idiot masses think that it is in vogue. I’ll buy a brand I believe to be better, and on rare occasion may wear a shirt hocking a product I believe in, but you wouldn’t ever catch me in an over priced Hillfigure shirt when one without a name brand came off of the same line and costs half as much. . . Don't forget the Harley davidson ($55,000) ford pickups sporting HD black and orange pulling HD trailers ($10,000)with hds ($45,000) inside taking the bikes to the good riding spots instead of riding there

Well now, I wasn't trying to get personal there damien. It was what I thought was a funny comment, followed by a serious one.
