I just got the kit and am looking to install it this week. I was wondering if any of you have used it, how you like it, and if there's anything tricky to look out for. Also, should I re-use, or replace the fork oil?

Are you lowering the rear too? If so, then watch out for long pipes dragging in the corners.
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

replace it wih 484cc of quality synthetic fork oil per fork tube. it should measure 166mm from the top of the fork tube when fully compressed. book reccomends 5wt oil. I used 10 wt, some guys mix the two for something in the middle.

So, lower the bike with the caps off, fill the tubes to 166mm from the top with synth fork oil, then replace the washers, spacers and caps? Is this done with the spring in or out?

The rear is lowered with 1" shorter shocks. So about .76 inches total. I'm putting a new front tire on it that's about 1" taller so I have to drop the forks roughly 2.065"
