Hey Chy, is this still May 6-8? Do you have the routes mapped out in Google maps just in case?

I already have Thursday and Friday off next week, gonna try to meet up with you guys around Fort Mountain, but not looking good now after the "Ambien" thing. Now I have to have a set of tires for the Chevy ($400) AND a new tire for my America. Always something.

Saw Chy last night...Place looks desolate here at the Raj with out 50 Triumphs in the parking lot...I'll miss you guys! Just to "warm them up though I puked on the lower walk (in several places), did a few burn-outs in the parking lot, and stacked all the chairs against the door of some unsuspecting guest!

I'll be leaving Houston sometime Monday, morning, I hope. I'll ride until I get there, or until I can't go anymore, and get in on Tuesday sometime. Not sure what route to take, but looking like I won't have the luxury of sight-seeing getting there, so I'll be slabbing it all the way. Any thoughts on road closures? Should I come up to I-20 and come across? Or take I-10 across and then go North?

Just pulled into Allenstown PA...I seem to be headed the wrong direction from GA however But it was great to get to see Chy and DI and Gordon...unfortunately Mother Nature cut our trip to GA short so we didn't see what and who we planned to see...but really...it's always too short when we go to GA

Na. I was late rolling out at it was. Almost a dazzling start. Wanted to stop in Orangeberg for some BBQ. Well, the fried chicken was something to talk about. Currently at Greg's. Elijah spoke to us last night. we'll be rolling WWN tomorrow.

All home safe! Stuck on 78 in PA 3 miles from our exit so long Lee's bike over heated...real BAD wreck! A tour bus and several cars...on half of a barely recognizable Honda something on the back of a flat bed...no cab just a trunk and the back wheels...held us back 3 hours but the traveling weather was great if not too hot...I hope you all have a safe rally and tip a few for us!
Ride safe and keep the shiny side UP!

I hear that Rob,
I need to get back to Georgia again for a rally. Heck, I found it once, couldn't be that hard to retrace my steps. I only had to call Chy a handful of times for directions
I'd go just for the meal Larryshep puts together , y'all ride safe now

I am in Tellico Plains arrived in a Monsoon Sunday night. Luckily I did the first 9 hours with a Jeep and the America on a trailer. I dried everything out this morning, made it to lunch then tried the Cherahala Skyway, bike kept cutting out.I thought I got water in the gas so went thru the motions, drained some gas from the bowls even checked out the pepcock. Thought I found problem "No Joy" It seems with all the water Sunday I may have burned out my coils. Right now bike wont start. It quit 4 times going up the skyway, I actually had to jump start it because I killed the battery. Pete have you got your tinkering thinking cap on? I will either go to Knoxville or find a dealer in NC for some coils. Tomorrow I am supposed to meet my daughter in Winston-Salem. Hopefully someone at the rally is reading this. I will be there Thursday but the bike will still be on the trailer. Steve_Sixmil
