You will still hear the "Loud Drunkin Bikers" because the sound travels uphill to the Super 8, you can almost throw a beer at the super 8! Steve_sixmil

Yeah I know. You can't get away from em. And those loud exhaust pipes and all that leather. It's enough to make decent folk quiver in their shoes.

Two months... PES, are you walking this year or are you shopping for a bike even now?

I'm still looking. I had to get through a house re-finance first. That was completed today. I am shooting for having something by the first of April. If not, I might be taking a Greyhound to Dahlonega.

Hey Paul,
You can swing by & borrow mine. I can't make it to Da, Dalon, Dahlon..., "that place where Chy & Di live" this year, but that doesn't mean the scooter wouldn't enjoy some north Georgia twisties

Thanks John. If I lived a little closer to Montana, I might have taken you up on that.

Paul,
If it truly comes down to it... I am in Georgia, I do have a T100 and an America... I can only ride one of them at a time.

Thanks Thom but I hope to have another bike by Rally time. I've not decided for sure which model, but it will be a Triumph.

I've test ridden one before. You're not too fat. They are pretty comfortable.

This is what I've got so far... in no particular order.. Blackwind Larryshep +1 Moe & Lynn Snekeptp Yota probably not +1.. Newt and Sue are going to try BIll.. I believe he said he might Mikemm03 Thomwill Hill8586... Okie.. Stevesixmil Lark Farms RBarnett PES.. on the unknown bike.. or afoot.. Picaso736.. a maybe I think Panman60 mert Airguy Lynchphoto.. maybe if he can pry himself away from his new bride..
Anyone heard from Glazer lately? Greg! you in? gotta ride the bumblebee though.. that bike has character.
As a side note... On the New Hampshire trip, both mine and Gregs bike had made use of my emergency #1 tool.. duct tape.
Mine got the Scottoiler taped back on somewhere in Tennessee.. it had been raining for a hundred miles.. expressway.. it was miserable riding. The thing just fell off.. been there for three years and the glue decided to release at that moment in time. After a couple futile attempts using some zip ties. I finally got the duct tape out and was good to go... left it in on for the return trip too, where it rained for 300 miles, but that's another story. Anyway we reattached Gregs front turn signal somewhere in Connecticut .. his second one that broke in the same place as the first. Anyway... best tool to carry? duct tape... I love that stuff!
Okay, what has this got to do with the Ga Rally?... Nothing.. not-a-thing.. I just felt like rambling.
Anyway.. Y'all coming? Lemme know.. it's getting closer. Larry and I have already talked about how we need to get out and scout Wayah road and maybe War Woman rd. Larry says he wants to cook a ham this year and I have it waiting patiently in my freezer. S'posed to be 71 degrees this weekend, springs a coming folks get your leathers out and clean out your saddlebags... it's rally time!

Of course I'm coming. I just need to finish up some things on the Speedmaster (no, I have not taken the engine apart again). I need to get a new roll of duct tape and a new rain suit as well. Unless I patch my old rain suit with even more duct tape John, don't you dare tell us that you can't make it this year. Don't make me come up there and punch you in the junk.

Doesn't look like it this year, finances are just too tight. Believe me if I could make it I'd be there before all of you. Greg next time you see me you can punch me in my junk.
