Close to what you're thinking, I'm wondering when they'll ditch the Speed 4 and come up with a new generation mid-displacement naked bike. Get rid of that Inline-4!!!

They had retro triples- they were all based on the Thunderbird line with the last being the 04 Thunderbird Sport.

i understand that but they didn't take it as far as they have with the thruxton no rearsets or clip ons and they didn't have the classic tanks, i don't think the way they came from the factory looked retro at all

This bike is stock cosmetically except for the bars and mirrors, oh and the seat which is/ was available from Triumph. How much farther back do you want the pegs? The lines look pretty classic to me.

I would like to see a 1200 Speedmaster. I think I would really enjoy this extra boost on my Speedy

Tough to make a retro looking bike when you have a radiator on it, but I've heard on more than one forum that people would like to see a naked 675 Daytona offered. Ducati makes Monsters in a couple of sizes, no reason Triumph couldn't do the same with the Speed Triple and a....hmmm...what would they call it?
What I'd like to see is a 675 Tiger. Detune to it to around 95-100 hp with gobs of torque. Keep it light at around 400 lbs. Yep, a nice Tiger Cub.

Stewart! I have seen that bike in person!! Or at least one exactly like it... Back when I lived in Mass, went on a large RAT run and there it was. Dude said he had an America too and wished he'd ridden it cause it was an all day ride! LONG with those bars on there, but it looked sweet!
