I'm guessing those of you in the Northeast have plenty of "shovel ready work" to do right now. We got that stuff about 11-12 days ago and it took about two or three days before we had the roads decently cleared. The wife and I hid out at home for a day and a half to play it safe. I'm sure you'll have a white Christmas. Here's hoping you have a merry one as well.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Interestingly enough out here in the West (near the 49th) the cold snap ended and we got temps of around 40 F with rain melting away the snow. Looks like we're gonna have a green Christmas here anyway.
Live to love, love to live.

I popped over the pond last week to spend christmas with the missus in MA and it has been quite mild really.
One thing that I noticed though was how much people talk about the weather here. I thought that us Brits were bad for that but it would appear that MA has cornered the market on wannabe weather forecasters.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Des Monies got more than we did here the QC, only got 6" from that storm. It's the one that is coming in this week that I wonder what we'll get. They are calling for sleet, drizzle rain, snow and a big mess. Stay warm and think spring

About 18" of the white stuff here in Maryland. Towards Baltimore, they got upwards of 24". That's total shut-down for this area. It looks to be hanging around for a while as well, so it doesn't appear I'll get in my Christmas Day ride this year (maybe not even NY's Day).

Stretch, I think Okies have the market cornered on amateur weather prognosticators. Any time a Tornado siren goes off, an Okie will run outside to look at the clouds. "Heck its a big one... but a block away, no need to seek shelter". We are looking at a little white stuff for Christmas here in N.E. Oklahoma.
