Spotted this rig on a recent trip to Kauai. Very clever.

I'm waiting to make these for the Tiger http://www.cafemotos.com/johnnyrack/CustomerPage.htmlI've seen a few home brew motorcycle racks people have done for Tigers. My only issue is usually if I'm going mountain biking it's with the girl. Most of the racks take her seat. With her and the trunk on, the Tiger already wants to wheelie like mad (and she's not a big girl, 5'9" 135). With Jessie and a pair of bicycles, I think I wouldn't need the front wheel.

I have a folding bike that I originally got to pedal into town from airports. (most airport food is considered the curse of the private pilot) I found that the front sprocket socketed nicely into the rack I had on my R90/S, so I would haul it to Venus beach and ride the bike road there.

"VENUS Beach", GB???!!!
OH! Wait a minute!
THAT'S just a stone's throw from the "Santa Harmonica Airport" out here, ISN'T it?!
(well ACTUALLY, now that I think about it and start considering the kind of folks who tend to hang out at Venice Beach, MAYBE you were right AFTERALL in callin' it "Venus" Beach...yep, there sure has always seemed to be a whole lot of "otherworldly" folks who hang out THERE alright!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I have one word that would describe being able to have my mountain bike with me in the Brasstown Ranger District: Nirvana!
