Well...like last year around this time I have two bikes in the garage and neither is being ridden. So I do what I expect the rest of you do (except for you Aussies and Floridians and So Cal folk)...I think about when I can get on that bike again.

So...Feb is only a couple months away and its time to start thinking about the 3rd annual NW Meet N Greet.

NEW - I dont know how I feel about doing this but if this is going to be 3rd year for this maybe T-shirts are in order. Thoughts?

I am in and t-shirts are ok with me..I am sure JHaggard will meet with us depending on whether He is working/home..High end on the shirts would be a polo type..all in xl and plus sizes!!!PS..I plan to grow!!!

I am rolling West this year. But February? Highs in the mid 40s BRRRRRRRR.

If'n I don't have to work that weekend, I'll make plans to be there. T-Shirts Long sleeve T-shirt even better...A polo?? I'd feel like I was dressing up.

It will depend upon when in February. I am expecting alot of travel then, but will try to be there (on 2 wheels or 4) if possible.
I have a friend, back east, who's an excellent artist. Maybe she can come up with a design for the t-shirt. Any ideas/suggestions? Perhaps a salmon slapping a Harley?

For Ts I was thinking a simple BA logo with the state of Wa in the center...similar to what we've seen from some rally's.
Simple colors, white or dark green, maybe blue. I have enough black Ts.
I PMd Phil to see if I can have permission to use the logo. If I get a yes then Ill look into cost.

If this happens in Feb it'll be near the end of the month. Turns out Ill be in So cal the month of Feb.

I'm thinking locations too...Buzz Inn Diner was a good spot last year. I don't remember it being too cold and last winter was horrible.
Theres a cool Brit pub in Redmond BUT not too much fun to ride to.
Any other suggestions?

Buzz inn works for me ...polo out..long sleeve t-shirt in???Any color other than black/red.prefered and no salmon thing please..we have mountains and lakes and twisty roads and starbucks!!

unless something unexpected happens between now and then i'll be in.... i'm riding every day (except below 25 deg) and it's not so bad. hopefully it'll be mild in feb.

Im starting the search for Tshirts this week.

Im going to be pricing out Long Sleeve, cotton or 50/50, heavier weight (not those cheap see through thin Ts), no pockets, BA.com logo w/ Wa state in the center and maybe something on the back (not sure yet).

Id like to get an idea of what sizes are needed? Qty also?

oh yes ..mid 40's will be t-shirt weather for us washington wet rats ..green would be nice..the evergreen state...my .02..long sleeve please..perhaps 2/27/2010??

Still waiting for a final price on the shirts.

I got the artwork thanks to Ray (Birchr). Itll be 4" wide x 3" tall and positioned on the left side chest.


Once I get final pricing I can pick the shirts. Ill look for navy blue or dark green, long sleeve, heavy weight that hopefully wont shrink too much.

I got the info I needed today to set the date for this...

In the past we have hung out for a while, chatted, had some food, took some pics and then all rode our separate ways.

I don't know that there is a bad road in or out of that area.

Hey Z! What if it rains?
Well deal with that when it gets closer. Ill keep an eye on the weather and if it looks like rain that weekend well just move it to the next weekend.
I know some of you are OK riding in the rain but no need to put our butts in a bad situation if we don't need to

OK boys and girl. We are so close to this I can taste it...ok, not really but I ordered sample shirts today.
I may be putting more effort into this than seems normal but I just hate it when T shirts shrink and become unwearable.

Heres what I know so far, T shirts will be:
*long sleeve
*heavy weight (5.5 or 6.1) cotton
*dark green
*shirts will be embroidered with the logo at the end of this post.

I have samples of the shirts below coming. I want to see how they fit before washing then I will wash one and see how much they shrink. At least this way well know to order a size up or not.

Until I know which shirt I can only give a rough but close estimate...
Its going to be about $30-$31 per shirt (if its any less Ill give it back when we meet).
The more shirts there are the cheaper it gets (wed need well over 20 for the price to really start dropping). The long sleeve option adds a little bit too.

I want to remind you...these are nice heavier shirts and they are being embroidered (screen printing is only $1 cheaper per shirt). These will be NICE!

That sounds great count me in it's only 6 miles from my apt. Put me in for a 2xl (my drier could shrink concret).

Long time no see. Sorry I haven't been around like I should be, but thank Z for the ping, I can't miss the annual meet and greet!

I'll be coming on my bike and my wife will be following in the car. We have a baby boy on the way that is due in late March, so much more safe for her in the car. :-)

Heres the final on shirts:

Long sleeve will be $33
Short sleeve will be $28
(Im confident we will get the qty needed for these prices)

The shirt being used is the Port & Co.
Max size is 4X.
I fit into a 3X and then washed it and still fit. It shrunk only a very little, almost not noticeable.

There was also a slight change to the design.
The logo will still be the same but the script will change as follows:

For now Im just keeping record of everything. Once we get a little closer Ill ask for payment from those that can do it.
Im hoping we can break 15 shirts and get a slightly lower price.
If we get to 15 or more then the prices become $33/$28 respectively.
