...you receive your latest edition of "Motorcycle Classics" magazine in the mail, which my mailman has just shoved into my mailbox along with all the Christmas cards.

This month's cover story is about the Triumph X75 Hurricane. I've always loved that "fan-tail" exhaust and the tank/sidecover on that Craig Vetter-designed beauty.

However, I do believe their wording on the cover is a mite off the mark. It reads..."Triumph's Radical X75: The World's First Factory Custom". Well sorry, but Harley's 1971 "Boattail" Super Glide preceeded the Triumph by a couple years and is pretty much recognized as holding that distinction.

Still, I can't wait to delve into my latest copy of this superb magazine.
(...and maybe find an explanation as to their cover page wording inside of it, also)

If you're into older bikes at all and don't subscribe to this bi-monthly periodical, then I have to say...you're missing out!!!

(...I just wish it was published EVERY month!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The Horse Backstreet Choppers doesn't publish in December or May.
