I will also add to Friar's comment that Chevy has been a member in good standing and his customers are very happy. That is why he is allowed to sell here. if he was any sort of scam you would not be reading these posts. i have never done business with him, but know several that have and he has a solid rep here. If you are apprehensive, don't send him your pipes.

Many of us here has delt with Chevy...me included as I've sold him two sets of pipes...and like you said, he's a stand-up dude. People I have met that have his pipes are happy with them and that's all that matters.

Whoa!! Slow down! I never had any doubt about Chevy's integrity or felt in the least like his enterprise is out of place here. I never had that impression, and certainly never intended to make anyone feel I did. I'm just curious as to who the end-user is in this chain of events. If your not going to drill your own stock pipes, then you by another set from Chevy, right? Why? His aren't drilled either, are they? Doesn't Chevy just want to buy good used stock pipes that haven't been drilled? Who buys those from him? I just don't see the market, so I'm obviously missing something, I admit. If Chevy drilled them and then resold them, I could see that all day long. Maybe more than a few of us are getting cabin fever, eh?

I'm not going to bother rereading this entire thread, but that is exactly what I missed, somewhere down the line. Thanks, guys, and I do apologize for my ignorance. It does make perfect sense, now.
I have tried a couple of times, but have not seen any used Triumph pipes on Ebay.
I did just check our "VENDORS ONLY" forum and found his thread there, though. I'll contact Chevy directly for more information.

I knew I had never heard anyone complain about Chevy....that thought had never entered my mind!
I guess when I first saw his posts I might have thought he might be drilling them, but for whatever reason something made me start believing he did not. I had never seen the post about the "Special". Never looked for it.
I should browse our "Vendors Only" forum more often...
But thanks for standing up for Chevy, too, Pat. Not out of line at all if that impression had been implied.

I've had my stock pipes sitting around and thought I'd email Chevy this morning to get them out of the house. After a few PMs to get the needed information, the money was in my paypal account and a prepaid label was sent to my email. Wow, that was quick! Pleasure doing business with you. Thanks Chevy! I'll send the pipes tomorrow.

Now paying $100 a set plus prepaid UPS shipping. Take those pipes off the shelf and turn them into cash.

I've got a pair of new take-offs from a 2010 america--I doubt they have more than 10 miles on them. I put a set of TORs on it as soon as I bought it. Would you be interested in these?
