Theres potential there... cant say I like it though. Is it the lighting or are those wheels yellow?

Eh, not sure I like either T-bird. Some of those cafe's looked interesting. The surfboard equipped Bonnie did make me chuckle. I guess these are the Euro contest entrants?

The more I look at the polished up T-Bird at the top of this thread, the more I'm kind'a likin' it. But for some reason, the white and orange one in a '66 Bonnie paint job mode isn't quite doin' it for me here. (...and I'll give you guys three guesses about how cool I think that Street-Tracker above looks!...OH YEAH!!!...now THAT'S niiiiiiice!!!!)

Anybody know if Triumph is going to have any presence at the IMS show this year? From what I can see in the vendors list the answer is "no," but... well, I'm still just shocked that Triumph isn't spending their marketing dollars there. The IMS show is where I first laid eyes on the Speedy, and where I fell in love (the pretty Brit chick showing 'em off didn't hurt either)...

that surfboard holder is cool...I think it'd be awkward getting on it, with it on that side though.
Those 2 at the top suck and I'll deal with the white one with the lowered rear.

Nope Jaeger, not again this year either. However, I do know Triumph will be represented again this year at the Long Beach CA by my local dealership, South Bay Triumph, who last year had quite a nice exhibit which was not tucked away in a side area like they used to be. It was actually quite a prominent display out in the middle of the arena with all the other brands. According to Matt Capri, the proprietor of South Bay Triumph, he said Triumph HDQ in Georgia doesn't feel that they've gotten enough bang-for-the-buck or their money's worth in the long run when they've sent their offfical promo truck to these Cycyle World shows. (BTW...here's ya a little tip to follow when the show comes your way and into your town and you go to it....DO NOT wear ANY Triumph gear which might have their logo somewhat prominently displayed upon it, such as say a T-shirt OR a jacket...BECAUSE, you will be INUNDATED with question AFTER question by the other folks there asking YOU "where the Triumph stand is"!!!!....GOT IT, dude???!!!)

I pretty much like the first tbird in this thread. Always had a thing for chrome tanks... and yes Dwight, the Street-Tracker is very cool. But did ya see what else was cool from the site where these pictures came from? A little slide show going on just under the rocket radio player?
Not trying to test your powers of observation but it didn't take much to draw my attention away from the bikes there for a bit.
Live to love, love to live.

I like that baby too! However, is it just me or does that gastank look a little bit like a Arlen Ness designed Victory model's tank? (not that that's a bad thing you understand, as I've always liked those Victory gastanks. And come to think of it(probably because AussieBiker pointed it out), it also seems to have a swingarm very similar to a Victory's too. (well, I guess if you think about it, the words "triumph and "victory" ARE pretty much synonyms, so why not "blend" the two bikes together, RIGHT?!)

Wow! Thanks for the heads-up there, moe!
That one video in that link showing all those custom Triumphs at that european show really makes me kind'a sorry that Triumph won't be sending those very bikes over here for the North American shows, 'cuz I'd REALLY like to see those babies in person.
Yep, ALL of 'em looked great from what I could tell!

Yep, my old "Hardly-Davidson" Kymco used to have a rack, where I mounted my first surfboard... on the other side. Has to do with which side of the road you are driving and road camber.

I like the black cases, much more so than the chrome.

Like turn it into a sprocket and chain cover with a chain guard. Then add some cooling fins, lose the radiator, put the rest of the rear fender back on,give it a gas tank that has some style with knee indents, and a better looking exhaust and you have a good starting point.

My thinking runs to a two piece cover, with the inner being a full length plate to hide internals, and a truncated outer cover over the pulley itself.
