Tie Downs Quick and Goofy questions for ya? Have you tried to integrate these with your easybrackets? If these are somehow compatible with the easybrackets, then I'd buy them to complement the triumph chrome seat rack. Thanks for the continued innovation!

If you put the tiedowns between the mounting posts of the EBs and the fender strut, I don't see any reason at all why it wouldn't work. Am I overlooking something?

I guess it depends on how far they stick out, if they would prevent the EZ bracket from sliding down onto the pegs. Also, it would make the bags stand off the bike a little farther.

Not wishing to deprive Brent of any sales, but why don't you use the EB posts as the anchor points? Just hook the cargo net around them?

That's what I do... Bungee cord hooks fit pretty well on them...

I picked up a couple spacers, fender washers and S/S longer bolts for the large fender-strut-bolt head of the EB posts, and use that to hook bungies to. It's not pretty but it works good. I hook to those, the luggage rack and sometimes the rear turn signal posts. The problem I have with the EB posts is that any hook that's big enough to hook around the post is too fat to fit between the strut and EB.

I sometimes fish a small webbing strab around those posts (when I have the bags ON) and use those to strap down a duffel bag. Works pretty well. Just your garden variety straps from a camping store.
