5 weeks and I'm still out of the game. Down on a hit and run on the Blue Ridge Pkwy October 3.. My '06 America landed on my knee.. surgery on October 4, 2 screws to the tibia and re-attachment of everything under my kneecap. Rehab going well but still no weight on the leg and no e.t.a. Going crazy on the couch at home.

Sorry to hear about the mishap. Hope you get well soon. That's quite the sacrifice you made placing yourself between the bike and the road. Glad to see you will eventually be up and around.

BTW, was there much damage to the bike?

How were you run into - from behind, side, pulling out from an overlook? The speed limit is low on the Parkway, just curious as I've ridden it a number of times. I've covered from Asheville to the TN line. My brother lives in Linville.
