Yeah I know bikes are parked for a lot of us (me too) but still, if we kinda get beyond this "riding season's over" blues thing to a more of a "here and now" approach to it all then maybe we can still enjoy certain perks of this here fall season. To that end I offer the following pictorial. Let's start off with this pic of a nearby mountain glade. To a fall morning pic taken right from my deck But then ya got this for yer eyes to feast on... And a nice pic of the 'Old' bridge over the mighty Columbia in my home town. Another nearby scene On the way to Nelson And the Nelson bridge Even though it's too cold to ride, it's still pretty amazing... Even on a foggy morn' such as this. Just hope I've added a little colour to the lives of those who wait to ride again... And just remember there's a ray of sunshine in everything. Ps...just so ya know, it's not possible to move here due to a recent cap put on the local population. But ya can still visit though!!! (dedicated to Freedom who said recently Montana didn't get much color this year) Aaaah, but ya got a wood stove, yer okay!
Live to love, love to live.

Those are great pictures Keith, Southern BC's like my home away from home. You're right, live for the day - - on the other hand the "shortest day" is a bit over a month away, .....then spring's just around the corner jh

Hello Keith, seeing those photos has just made a few things click into place. My old Dad, bless his soul, lived in Canada in the 40's and after my first visit to sweden in 92 I showed the pics and he got glassy eyed and said it's so much like Canada. And now I know, I didn't realise how much the north of Sweden IS like Canada. The photos I have are those little bitty black and whites they had years ago. If your interested I have a lot of photos from 45 to 48 when he lived on PEI also from Montreal from that period

Great shots, Keith. A little different up here in the Okanagan, but not a lot. I've still got to get down there one of these days to meet you and have a jar or two. Bonnie's still insured but it's pretty cool out now. Think I might be done 'til spring. Pedro

Great shots Keith. Man, BC is BEAUTIFUL. I'll be in Edmonton next summer for my son's wedding. Hope to bring the bike, along with my wife.... BC is in the plans.

Hey Keith,
Those pictures are fantastic. If you don't mind I will download them and print a few of for my computer room wall. The only scenery we have at present is pictures of my garden sprinkler trying to keep some green into our lawn. We have had 1 inch of rain in the past 6 months. I am sat out on the back patio waiting for the storm that they have predicted as a definite maybe!!! I won't hold my breath, I don't look good in blue.
