I think someone here pointed me in the direction of this tach in another thread. http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/4/196/7728598Is this a quality unit and has anyone here used it?

I've used this tach for about 4 years now and it serves the purpose. Fitted into the dash mounting hole, fabbed up a piece of metal to secure it from the bottom and Bob's your uncle. There is a wiring diagram in the Tech Vault that shows which of the Triumph wires under the dash to use.

I've had mine for 2 or 3 years, now. Fits perfectly in the stock hole in the dash. I bent a little metal strap for a mounting bracket. Also comes with a handlebar clamp. I changed the bulb for an LED, it was too bright for night riding. Mine fogs up in the rain, but dries right out in the sun. Can't beat it for the price.

I put one of these on my wifes bike about 4 years ago. It seems to be holding up okay. No problems. Not using the full RPM range though!

I would like to take a minute to clarify the meaning of yesterdays post. Sometimes the printed statement LOOKS like it meant something different from what was really meant. I meant for it to come across as a phrase as would be used amongst a gathering of close knit friends, as my friends and I commonly do. With my group, if it ends with an A or O, its a-ok. If it ended with an ER, someones going to the ER. I meant absolutely NO DISRESPECT TO THE BA MEMBERS OR TO GRZEGORZ!!! I hope no one was offended.

Hi, Is that a Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge just below the clock in the dash panel? If so, how does it mount to the BLACK panel, and WHAT IT IS CONNECTED to for power output? You help would be apperciated. Jerry
