Approx. 950 km from Travemunde, that's where the ferry from Sweden arrives.

Looks perfect - When are you going to start the booking process??

And for the "usual suspects from the UK" , Andy & I found this place earlier this year on the way back from Poland via Prague. Its about half way to the rally site so should suit us down to the ground.

All sorted then, just book your days off and start saving.

This "not usual suspect" from the UK was thinking about the Euro Rally next year....

But can't make that weekend!! I'm on Guide Camp... and it's not movable.

So I guess I'm out...

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Nick,

That looks absolutely fantastic mate.

I really can't say whether I will be going or not, most likely not because of forthcoming move to the USA.

If I am still in the UK at the time awaiting house sale then yes I will be going (if I'm allowed!) It will be a
very short notice decision though.

If I do go I was thinking of getting me a nuns costume to do the "sound of music" thing over the hills as a Nazi stormtrooper outfit might be frowned upon.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

More to the point, it means you can carry more ale on the bike instead of loading yourself down with tents etc

BTW, are there any very rough plans re number of stops on the way etc?
I know it's do-able to get both of us on the bike with camping gear but why should we if we don't actually have to?
What I'm getting at is if there are a couple of stops on the way, assuming we can wing it and finally manage to get to go this time, we could do with some sorta travel lodge type thingy type set-up ... sorta.

Not getting - got!!

Besides, all the "campers" (no jokes please!!) saw how refreshed you "hotelers" looked in Poland and decided we want to try that as well!!

Nice to see you haven't lost the habit of not reading all the preceeding posts!!

My earlier post mentions this place
Its an easy ride from the channel ports and only 250 miles from the rally site.

I have spoken to Martyn about this and am going to contact them to see if they will take us, and if we can get special group rates.
