After sitting for about 3 weeks (work, weather etc) it took awhile to get it started. I put the key on to get the carb heaters going while i got my gear on ,does this help?

Pulled choke no start. Fiddled with everything finally started. ran great after that. this has happened a few times.

Just wondering if theres something im missing when i start it up after its sat for a while?

why do Englishman like there beer warm?

Hey Cy,

This is probably normal after sitting for so long in cold temps.

I wouldn't bother with the carb heater thing. Turning the key on for an extended time with the headlight on will draw down the battery a bit making cold starts a little harder. Start the bike up and let it warm up while you get ready.

PS-this should be posted in the Misc section.

Englishmen like warm beer because they have Lucas refrigerators.
