I am ordering some Warm and Safe gloves and jacket liner, and maybe pants liners and socks down the road sometime. I have a friend who showed me his gloves, and they are they same as the Firstgear Carbon heated gloves reviewed here: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-gloves/firstgear-carbon/ Apparently, WarmNsafe makes Firstgear's heated gloves and controllers. I do have a question about the output of the Speedmasters power though;Does anyone know at what the stator/alternator is rated? I want to choose my gear wisely and I can't find the output anywhere. Thanks, Clay

Gerbing has taken it up a notch with Microwire http://www.gerbing.com/Technology/howItWorks.htmlThey sure have expanded their offerings since I bought stuff a year or three ago, with battery packs and 7 volt technology, etc. Their stuff ain't cheap, but hopefully it's a life long investment. To blurt the obvious, good ol' 8 or 10 hour disposable heat packs in boots and gloves go a mighty long way toward cold weather comfort too. If it wasn't for the @#%&*! road salt, I'd ride / commute year 'round. Being a baby beluga in training, I'm fortunate in that the cold doesn't get to me very easily. Another blab from coffee central -- Winter gloves very often have an inner liner that moves separately from the outer glove skin. This can make for a mighty awful experience, for when you twist on the throttle grip the inside of the glove moves, while the throttle grip itself begins to move a 1/4 twist later.

I've pretty much settled on the Warm and Safe stuff. They private label a lot of stuff, and used to make some stuff for Gerbing an HD.
It appears our bikes charging systems are rated at 27amp, or 325watts.
So if you go with just a jacket and gloves, should be fine.

I was going to say contact member Deon, because he has a full heated set-up. But I see he posted a complete response in the link Moe provided. Good Luck jh

I have a set of Tourmaster Synergy gloves, jacket liner, and pants. I like they way they all interconnect easily, and adjust. I use the same SAE cord for my power commander (with a coax adapter). The whole setup is comfy and heats well with 3 settings for both my gloves and liner/pants. Well worth it to me on the 2 days I get to use them here in AZ. LOL!
