well i have debated this for a long time and think i am going to take the plunge. i have been trying to make my america into something it just is not. i am going to see what kind of deal i can get on a thunderbird with the big bore installed before i pick it up. my america is my first bike and it was a college graduation gift so i am not to sure how much play there is on motorcycles. i know cars there is room but i dont know about bikes. i want to trade the bike in so should i push for money on trade in or money off the bike? any info you all have i would appreciate. thanks

Do you have saddlebags, sissybar, windshield, etc.? You might be better off parting out the accessories and selling the bike plain.

you will definitely get more selling it than trading it in

Do you still have the stock carbs to put back on it? Sell those Mikuni's for sure!
