I just found out that a dear friends wife has died after she hit a deer last night. I feel just awful knowing what kind of anguish my friend is going through. Not to mention his stepson. I know that God is in control, but that makes it no less tragic! They were a very affectionate and happily married couple, who were passionate about riding, each having their own VTX. I'm kind of at a loss for words about the whole matter. Just devastated!

Rob, I'm very sorry and sad for what you and your friend are going through.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Sorry to hear of this sad news, Rob. My condolence to you and to Deborah's other friends and family.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Another friend just spoke to him and said he seems to be coping pretty well... for now. His remarks were that she was doing what she wanted...riding. He also stated that she had been praying for relief from rheumatoid arthritis. Oh the irony!

Sorry to hear it, Rob.

I'll be praying for them and you. What a shame.
