Yup... last ride of the season (officially). That was yesterday when me and buddy headed out over mountain passes past shaded slopes. And I mean it wasn't the greatest weather... overcast and cool to cold but I gotta tell you it was a BLAST. And this bike loved it as much as I did. She just pulled like a trooper through the twisties along the way and I know she had a lot of fun too.

So I got some pics for you just to commemorate the occasion. We rode like we stole the bikes and laughed at every stop (and for the record, the laughing was NOT induced by substances of any kind). Just a NATURAL high man!!!

Handsome dude, eh? Available too for all you biker dudettes out there!!

Still a Cardinal or two out there to woooo the masses there Freedom!

And ummmm, a little red on red (with the same handsome yours truely).

But then we got this...

And this to tease the urban riders who might wish they had twisties.

And the glaciers all around seemed to add to the charm.

But finally the day ended, and just before home had to stop for a picture of this.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Best ride yet (except for all the others).

Live to love, love to live.

Ya can't beat red and chrome! Looking at your cardinal, and the chrome beading on the fenders, makes me start to think, hmmm.......

Makes you wish you were in a climate like Arizona where
the riding season is 365 days a year doesn't it?

Oh, no no no!! Nope ya just can't beat the environmental factors in the equation on a day like that. All suited up and feeling cozy inside, mountain cooled air against the face, nostrils flared, optimum body temp, reflexes awesome, bike running like a dream in the cool temps, hardly anyone on the road, breathtaking fall colours and scenery.... super conducive to fits of euphoria and absolute bliss. REALLY!!

Would not trade that for all the hot pavement in the world (although we get that too)!

No sir... just a dusting on the tops of the mountains. And a woodstove you say... nice touch!

No not really. Living in AZ is great, and I do get to ride almost every day, but, I've we don't get shots of glaciers and lakes here like that!! Lots of mountains instead!

Terrific pics of BE-you-TEE-full BC there, Keith!

(and huh...I'm also gettin' the impression here that you know how to appreciate that BE-you-TEE-full part of the world too!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
