I've read the posts here and elsewhere, and though it seems like a no brainer, anyone have any bad results from an upgrade to EBC full floater front discs on the '09 America? At 6k miles I am just starting to get some pulsing and I am not going to chase it with replacement stock discs, warranty or no. Also, any feedback on pad types with this disc? Fast eddy Sports seems to have the best deal.

Have you taken your rotor off and re-installed it for any reason? When I changed wheels I had pulsing with a known good rotor. I think it was the wear pattern between the pads and the rotor not being in sync. Cleared up after a few hundred miles.

Hey Dan I had a slight pulse around the same mileage as you and when I replaced the pads with these , the pulsating went away. I did the front and rears at the same time just because

No, the rotor has not been removed or molested in any way. I did measure the runout, and at the outer edge I have 0.004 ", which is below service threshhold. It's not a major pulse, just a nudge at low speed-to-stop. I'm thinking now that a full floater is maybe overkill, (and noisy) as I do not ride hard and few mountain twisties are in my diet. The disc is in good shape otherwise, no scores or bluing, so maybe I will try the sintered pads for awhile and see what develops. While the rear brake works fine, I guess I should replace both to be balanced, no?
