The Thunderbird is nice, but it's no Rocket III Roadster.

How true that is..the rocket roadster may just be the quickest and baddest bike Triumph has ever made...love my R3T but insanity does return from time to time!!
life is good..I am retired..sold my America in 2008,bought a Rocket and sold that in 3/2013 and now own a new Triumph Bonneville T-100

Yeah but it's not as homely as it's bigger brother either.

So Jim, you're sayin' it's kind'a like that classic case of the be-spectacled librarian with her hair up in a bun, who you just KNOW would be REALLY HOT if she'd just take those darn glasses off and pull that hair pin from her long flowing tresses and allow them to fall gently over her supple and comely shoulders...RIGHT?! (ummmmm....sorry....I guess I just got carried away with my analogy there ...but hey, YOU started it with all that "best girl you ever saw" stuff, ya know!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
