I have read the deer posts in the past. Now I have watched the videos. My god! Now I understand. You really do have to get out there and shoot a bunch of them. Surely there are some public safety issues involved? Possibly get the authority that controls the animal population involved. Fencing with underpasses if they want to maintain the animal population, and protect the public. Over here they would be declared a public menace and shot.

I had two on my bike last year, Never seen a deer.
On the other hand somebody remarked that If they worked the insurance companies would be giving them away.
Homer Simpson made the same remark re: bear patrols. Lisa's response: "Specious reasoning. This is a lucky rock - it keeps away tigers. Have you seen any tigers here lately?"

Ya know Matt, I THINK you wanted to post THAT on this OTHER ongoing thread HERE didn't ya, mate??? ...
http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...0&fpart=all
(AND of course NOW the obvious answer by Homer to Lisa's query would be somethin' along the lines of..."Okay, then GIMME that friggin' "lucky rock" then, 'cuz I'm sick and tired of seein' that darn golfer's problems spread all over the friggin' news!!!")

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The City of Helena killed off 50 "city deer" this week. The lefties* and idiots** were up in arms, of course. Probably haven't smashed up their cars recently. Of course this doesn't really help much. 50 is a drop in the bucket and most deer hits are outside of city limits.
* Don't even THINK about starting up with the politics. ** My girlfriend's mother is against of all forms of animal killing, especially hunting, and she's a conservative meat-eater. Like I said, "Idiots." I need to make dinner for them and serve her deer or elk in the meal. That would be AWESOME.
And BTW John, I sure hope that that "somebody" who lives down there in the southeastern portion of Arizona looks at footnotes when he reads stuff!!!
(it doesn't take all that much to get the guy goin' a lot o' the time, ya know)
Well now Dwighty...no comment neccesary from this Sean Hannity lover. Cause I obviously agree with FJ completely.
Slay the deer- provide the meat to churches and community food banks. Nothing here for an all American like meself to even remotely be concerned about. As FJ noted its the left wing nuts who get excited.
And ....Dwight it does not take much to get you to crawl out oF your burrow either. Something you as always are blind about.
Merry Christams Dwight and may God bless you!
