Tonight 9/17 on National Geographic channel is a documentary on equipment technology and motorcycle crashes. It will be shown at 8:00 pm and 11:00 CDT. It will be repeated 9/20 at 1:00 am and 9/24 at 4:00 pm CDT. Check your local listings. You might want to record as it could be an interesting and informative show.

Just watched it...it was interesting but at times seemed like a commercial for MV Agusta, Alpinestars, Brembo and Nolan. STILL....interesting info.

At first I thought the same thing. But what I got was that they were able to get manufacturer buy-in & support from quality companies all in Italy.
Otherwise, they would have had to go to China to show the manufacturing processes.
It was a really interesting program. Catch the replays if you missed it last night.

Just watched it, now I want new brakes! The slipper clutch was a cool idea in development, not much use for it tin the cruiser world, but for race bikes it looks pretty neat.

I think it might be a few different shows in the series. I caught part of one that was different last week. It spent a lot of time on how motorcycle boots are designed and made. It does seem a little like company promo stuff, but interesting none the less. I'll see if it's a different one next Thursday.
