While some of the Tech Tips for Newb are great advice and some are general, are there any tech tips that have arisen that Newb EFI owners need to be aware of? One I saw is the extra resister for the AI removal. There's also confusion in a couple of threads over differences in Airbox mods.

A few here are experimenting with Tuneboy as a fix for some annoying EFI issues like snatchy throttle, deceleration popping, turning off the O2 sensors as well as throttle body balancing and improved tuning. But it's too early for authoritative Tech Tips to be written on that subject. TriumpRat have just introduced a tuneboy-help-tips-and-tricks dedicated forum (hosted under speed triples) but meant for all EFI Triumphs.

I think there SHOULD be a Tech Tip for removing the EFI fuel tank. I found a guide somewhere on this forum (or it might have been on TriumphRat) but I don't think it was in our Tech Tips. I think I searched on 'removing tank EFI'.

Like you say, the airbox mods are not a clear issue with EFI yet.

That's about all I can think of that's uniquely EFI.

Cheers, Richard
