i dont think this should be in classified but not sure??? My Bros Rick has an Aria proII cat bass with long scale neck and active electronics with gig bag, it is burnt orange and in great shape, we were just trying to get a handle on what might be a fair price for it. we are thinking between 3-500 bucks but just aint sure. it makes me think of a fender and sounds awsome. anybody got an idea as to what he should ask???

Newt,
One thing you can do is go to Ebay and do a search for the same equipment, watch several of them and see what they sell for. I'll do this just to get a general idea of what something is going for.

Aria is a fairly budget minded instrument line. I'd say probably about $150-$200 used. Probably on the lower end of that. Things like 'active electronics' sound good, but on a budget instrument... they are usually budget pre-amps (the stereo in a Civic isn't the same a the stereo in a Lexus). You're probably looking at selling it to a first-time buyer... (just one bass player's opinion)

I'm gonna suggest you read this. I found it very interesting and it will give you an idea of just what you've got there. Aria doesn't necessarily mean cheap... in fact their instruments are generally considered to be very good quality. Check it out... you might have a gem there.

My bandmates own a guitar store, and Lance is right on the money for what they would sell it for.
