Well, she's gone-sold my Speedie last Wednesday. I've mixed feelings about it, really. When I was looking to buy a bike, I decided that I'd spend the money and get what I wanted, rather than something cheaper that I didn't want. Unfortunately, and for those who don't know, 2 months after I bought her, someone crashed into the back of the car I was driving and messed up my lower back. 2 years later and I'm still suffering and I've had to accept that I can't ride properly/safely and so, the bike had to go. I've passed on the details of this site to the new owner so, hopefully, he'll be making an appearance at some point. (He's from Nottingham-way so look out for a lightly-modified black Speedie and say hello)
On the plus side, I'm going back to university to finish my degree in Landscape Architecture. I've already done the first year (in 2002/3) and have been accepted onto the second year at Manchester. Can't wait to get stuck in.

I'll still be popping back here every now-and-again but it won't be as often.
Ride safe, all.
Neill
