Do you guys have any tank bags you recommend? Do they scratch or mark up the tank? I considered a tool bag but it's not much room and I'm not sure where I would put it. I'm tired of wearing a back pack and I don't really want luggage, I like the looks of the bike without.
Also, how do you guys secre your helmet?

i have a trip bag by bags connection. i got some plastic stuff(tank slapper?) that protects the paint - you do need this. I have a standard helmet lock bolted to the underside of my rack but i also keep a retractable bike cable lock in the tank bag that i can use to hold helmet and jacket.

Not sure what the rack is. Is the tank slapper something that stays on all the time?

Got it. I was thinking about getting a license plate helmet lock. Any one have one?

I have the double helmet lock that fits to the license plate bracket, looks nice and will stop an HONEST person from steeling your helmet. It's convenient to use and gives you some piece of mind.
