Went away to the coast for a few days. was in brighton monday walking along the the prom and saw a tba parked up . wondered if owner was a member. about 1hr later saw a couple in biker gear and the guy had on a triumph tee shirt . thought this looked promising. went up to them and asked the guy was it his tba . Yep but he had'nt heard of this site.
he was from swindon on a week trip. had owned the bike for over a year. told him about the site and gave him one of our " ba cards". Said will check us out when he gets home .so made me think how many tba and s/master lost souls out there dont Know about us. So spread the the word and save those poor trumpets whose owners are lost

Jane told me about it at a family party.

I was suprised I remembered as I think I may have had a couple of beers.

I find it strange that the guys at the Dealerships don't know or don't tell about this site.

They also refuse to acknowledge aftermarket sources like the ones we have all grown to love and patronize.

I think they do their customer's a disservice by not providing "inside info" about our Triumphs...

I found it in winter of 03 doing a search of Bonneville America.

Beavis I think all dealers are not the same. Here in Kansas City my dealer has NewBonneville parts hanging on display behind the parts counter. I also know they scope out this forum and others.

Was here long ago looking for parts and when it wasn't that kind of site didn't come back for a couple years. Then was bored one day and joined to stir the pot some.

Me three, except this is my second best find. Can't divulge the first best AUP will intervene.

Signed up the day I signed the purchase agreement, and have been recommending it to every other rider I meet.

This is the second best place to be, the first is in the saddle.

I was searching the web for information about the rev limit and hit on some threads in the archive on the igniter module. Thats when I found the link to dinqua's site. That was helpful. The time would have been summer 2006 after I got my TBA. Came back some time later, a year or more, researching something else, and joined. I guess I was just wanting to know where I might connect and/or hook up with some other Triumph riders. There are some many v-rods and so few of us. My dealer told me about newspeedmaster.com but not about this site. I was delighted to find out that Brent was a member here. My dealer closed his shop and the mechanics opened up another shop but stopped handling Triumph. But the last couple weeks I've seen 5 or 6 differnt Triumphs in the area.

I was on the newtriumphbonneville forum in '05 when someone mentioned it. At the time I was undecided whether to go for the America or the Bonnie.

Pre-purchase research in the Fall of 2003 - this was still the "Old Site" , then.

I was still thinking at the time that I wanted (needed?) a Honda VTX, and never had owned, much less ridden a motorcycle before.

I happened upon two Triumphs outside a casino in Lake Charles, La., in September, '03, and when I got home, I pulled up the Triumph website again and ordered a brochure (which came within 2 weeks), and stumbling around on the internet I found a link to BA.com. I hit the forum and found very quickly that most of my reasons for wanting shaft drive, water cooling, and radial tires were unfounded, and I also learned that the displacement myth was totally unfounded, learning here, of course, that several members had no worries travelling two-up, or handling long distances on these little 790 motors.....This forum sold me my Speedmaster.

Once I understood the value for the buck ratio, and the "Cool Factor" that comes with it, my mind was made up.

I took the basic MSF course in the Spring of '04, and then promptly walked in and told my dealer "I want that Black Speedmaster", and did the deal.

Finding out about this site was the only thing I got from T-RAT.net, and that was long before they started deleting any mention of other Triumph web sites from the threads. Idiots.

I was sitting around one day with not a single person to upset. Knowing that wouldn't do I surfed up a forum.

Maybe I will even buy a bike some year. I hear they are dangerous though.

I must have found it from a search - can't remember. It was right about the same time I bought my bike - July 2005. No one told me about it, but I was doing a lot of research on the bike.
