Hi guys...years ago I debaffled my stock slash cut america pipes no problem with a long peice or rebar and a mallet.

Well..I hacked them to make shorty pipes and not sure I like it. too close to my ears and too loud.

I need stock pipes again...

Question is...if I buy used stock pipes that are tapered on the tips...not slash cuts...im not gonna be able to debaffle them as easily will I because of the taper????

O and if any wants to sell slash stocks...please let me kno...im kinda in a bind cause Im selling the bike and i just wanna make it right for whoever is gonna buy it.

Thanks.

- Ryan

I have stock pipes (tapered) that are fully gutted. The tech that did it for me said it was a b--ch...ran through 3 bits before getting both pipes done.

2005 America, green/gray, gutted stock pipes, tall sissy bar w/ luggage rack, Saddleman's dual touring seat and Tourmaster saddlebags (and sissybar bag).

it was easy on my slash cuts...its getting the baffles out of the tapered ends that looks tough.
