If you have ordered a shirt please contact me for sending your payment to me please........
Finally if I have missed your name off or added you on and you have changed your mind (can't understand why though) PM me....
Hey Ray, Looks like I won't be able to make the Dent weekend this year. I gotta blame those Pesky Taliban for this. They keep blowing up my construction materials en route to Camp Bastion, so the project I am on is going to overrun until end of August. So much for my summer Biking season. Will see you all at the Triumph Bash though!! Paul

Hi all
Looks like i will not be going to Dent (again!). Now have to be over in Germany with work.
I have a room booked (£59 non refundable deposit paid) at the George. Anyone interested in a cheap room for the two nights before i cancel and loose deposit?

It's looking highly unlikely that I'm going to be able to make this Ray.
Unfortunately Ive got a bit too much going on here at the moment to definetly say I'm going.
So thats 3 really good rallies I've now had to pull out of and i'm pretty hacked off about it - this USA place had better be good.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

As some of you know, Jahel has just had back surgery, and will not be fit enough to camp or ride pillion for Dent (she is only allowed to sit for 2 hrs a day at present). But she is so determined to get there, that with the kindness of Mark (British Steel), in allowing us to have his room at the George, and the fact that I have an estate, so I can drop the back seat, so that she can lay flat on an air mat, when the journey gets to much for her sitting, we will be there, all be it at a hotel, and in a car!!! So I would like to nominate her and put my vote forward for the most determined attendee award!!!!
Paul.

Wish I could join everyone at this event. I just met Stephen (NIBiker) and from the glint in his eye as he talked about it, I could see this is an event not to be missed.
(That's right, Stephen and his lovely wife 'Flo' are here in Canada on vacation and I had the fortune and pleasure to meet them!)
Have fun one and all. I will join you in a future year!!!

You could not of met a nicer couple Keith, the Dent meet is only small and usually throws it down, but the attendees make it all worth while, helped by the beer of course...

Hey guys, I will still be there. Unless my Canadian lottery ticket comes up, in that case I may not be. Some brilliant roads over here, I may still rent a bike, even a Harley. I was at the Kreation custom shop today, could have spent a week in there.

If you rent a bike in Vernon (Kelowna) let me know... I'll be over there in a heartbeat to ride with you!!! And did you know they hand out napkins at the Kreation custom shop to help catch your drool. Or you can discretely grab one just as you enter the shop!!

CAMPING THIS YEAR IS £9.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT THIS INCLUDES £1.00 TOWARDS THE PLAQUES
If anyone is thinking of stopping in the GEORGE&DRAGON now is the time to start booking as Gary is taking bookings and has already a single room booked.
The Sun Inn will be doing breakfasts again like last year and the Cafe has new owners in, so we may be able to have meals in there as well, Margaret is going to keep me informed.
As usuall the beer in both pubs the George & Dragon and the Sun Inn is supplied by the Dent Brewery
Time to start making your mind up if you want to attend and meet everybody else you exchange words with on here and also have a brilliant time? Hopefully the weather will be kind to us this year and we will have a good turnout.
Put your name below and be counted
RUN OUT SATURDAY IF EVERYTHING WORKS OUT!!!
The run out this year will be through AMBLESIDE and then up HARDKNOTT PASS and Rhinos Pass, when we reach the top I intend to turn left and then Descend towards Hawkshead Village then take the Ferry back to Winderemere. We will then head through Windermere and go back towards Devil's Bridge and then back to the campsite.
This run has been described as one of the best runs the Lake District has to offer us motorcyclists, with spectacular views through the valleys and of Lake Windermere, surely you do not want to miss out!!!
The plaques will be handed out in the George and Dragon around 8pm for Furthest Travelled, Best Bike..
Then you are on your own to sample the splendid beer and talk bikes all night.....
ARE YOU GOING TO MISS IT ?
