I like the quote "The government forgets that George Orwell's 1984 was a warning and not a blueprint." Surveillance cameras, private and government data bases for medical, financial and other records, mandatory GPS tracking in your phone and lots of other technology available to track, snoop and watch us all. Just imagine if the wrong people control this technology. One thing for sure, if they don't now, they will eventually.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Most of this security is a result of terrorist activity and the government's attempts to circumvent terrorist activity. The terrorist wants to bring government to their knees and get them to bow to their demands. The ironic thing is, as a result of their single minded goals, ALL of the public is brought under even GREATER surveilance and control. Thanks a lot, you dumb*** terrorist knuckle heads for the world you're helping to create!!!

Years ago there were jerks in my neighborhood who shot or poisoned dogs who dug in their gardens or crapped in their yards. I have a different tactic. I feed them chili. The dog thinks it's great but the owner pays the price for letting his dog run loose.
