This is interesting to everyone, not just the guys that have done this road. 46 km in 10 min ....hmmm, average of around 275 kph or 170 mph! This road is nothing but twisties through raw mountain terrain. I live here and ride this road often so I know it well. The guy is riding a Suzuki Hayabusa but still... I don't think so.

See what you think.

No not even without any traffic.

Google maps says 58 minutes for normal people.

Well, if it's humanly possibly, he can.

Go with what you know. Download the HD version and view the instrument cluster frame by frame on your media player. The speedo needle is visible from time to time and almost invariably it hovers between 10 and 12 o'clock on the face of an ostensibly 220 mph scale. Bogus.

Then again maybe I am just jealous that I lack the skill to reach up and flip open my face shield every few moments while doing 170mph on a curvy road.

True about Rene... if anyone could do it he could. Amazing attention to detail there Leno... will have to go over it again. And the guy's from Edmonton... he's a flatlander. Where does he get the experience to ride a world class curvy road? "Hey Bud... I'm gonna head out to BC this weekend and set a world record. Wanna come?" For the most part flatlanders are scared of our roads. Trust me... I was born on the lone prairie and it took me some years to get used to this stuff.

This is kinda fun... I called the guy on his video by leaving him a comment. He got back to me with this:

hey don't spoil it for the idiots. the video was meant to be " road from kaslo to new denver SHOWN in ten minutes" but I left the shown out. never thought anyone wouldn't think it was double speed. next thng i knew people were claiming how fast I was and blah blah blah. for the longest time i said nothing, but i figure i might as well have fun with the stupids in this world.
