Changed to 19 tooth for trip, America is still on the stand and only have a lb/ft wench. All I got left to do is torque the nut and zip it up.

Need lbs/ft torque spec.

Front sprocket nut is 132 Nm. I entered it on this site and came up with about 97 ft/lb.

Yep, That's what i've got on the torque sheet. If you didn't get a new lock washer you can crimp one of the good edges; don't recrimp the used washer edge, it'll just fail at the worst moment.

Google also has a calculator/converter that very few people know about. Just simply copy and paste this into the search "convert 132 newton meters to foot pounds". Basically you can convert anything, you just have to type convert, and specify from what to what.

There is a very hande nm to ft-lb conversion chart for our bikes on the home page, downloads. It's in PDF and Excel. I printed and laminated one for the garage and use it all the time. No greasy prints on my workshop manual and much easier to get the number you need fast.

if you dont have access to any conversion charts or a computer just divide the nm's by 4 then multiply that by 3 to get your torque in ft/lbs. its not exact but its really close.

1 newton meter = 0.737562149 foot pound

I know the conversion, but I was in a real hurry as my helper was only available for a short time. Also, my source for metric torque wenches got married and moved away.

Mostly I didn't have the torque spec in either NM or Lbs.

Thanks to all, especially for the torque spec download info.
