I seem to recall someone looking for a workshop manual for the Speedmaster. As I recall it seemed that there was not one available as yet. Anyway here is the catalogue number T3859909-01 got it from our importer. I am think of getting one so if some one has it please let me know what is it like and if it is worth the buy or not.

Thanks for the info but I need one now and this is the Triumph published one so it should cover everything …….. I hope. I am still waiting for a price for it however but the Haynes one look quite reasonably priced.

Hermy's has the new one for $79 in case you find the price you're waiting on is higher. And it may well be because when i was looking for on they were the cheapest i found, tho not cheap enough i might add ! But never the less they were the cheapest.

Buy the Haynes book for the pictures, but get the real factory manual for the spec's and procedures. With all the mergers and buyouts in the manual business, Haynes, Chilton and Clymer are all lumped into one, and it looks like they've collected all the inaccuracies together and kept them.

According to the Haynes book I could have gotten a Speedmaster in 2002. Guess I must have missed that one at the dealer.

I am almost tempted to buy one from Hermy's!

Today, I called by my local dealer (40 miles from Triumph factory) and found out that manuals are £66 ($115.00) after sales tax! Still trying to work out how Triumph can ship all of their products, including bikes, 3500 miles and still come up with a cheaper price than they can for their home market! If it wasn't for the shipping cost and custom's duty, buying one from Hermy's would be cheaper than buying one here! Go figure?

To make matters worse, have just been beaten on an e-bay bid for a manual by a guy with the handle Harleyray. Guess he wanted to find out how a proper bike works.

Things marked for export dont get another round of VAT tacked on every time someone blinks.
