how wells does pats rejetting calculator work? 
2005 America 145 mains, , #48 pilots, , k&n pod filters, ported intakes manifolds, nology coils and wires, pro com CDI, 62 HP at wheel 68,000 hard miles still runs great gone "traded"

Does pretty good unless you have a Mac - then it doesn't run at all.

I hear its more accurate for the 790 motors.
Pretty close but not dead on for the 865s.
Bottom line it gets you very close so you can tweak from there.

The calculator is a very good starting point. I found it to be a little rich but your elevation and other variables may give a different result. All and all worth having.

I used it to calculate the jet size I needed after installing TORs. Now I ain't no techy but Pat's calculator said I should use 123.5 mains. After the tune I had done at the dealer I asked what size mains he put in. "124" was the answer. "Well," I said... "that's pretty much what I figured should go in there," and I walked away making it seem as though I really knew what I was talking about.

basically what it is a start pt. I know myself I wouldnt have had a clue where to start, now due to my elevation and whatever I have tweaked from there.All I can say is she runs like a top....thanks pat
