move it at your peril. Check through old posts and you will find out why.

I have an 03 america which had the original low reservoir no issues but never dropped, the higher position was fitted by dealer but after a week I took it back off as it looked awful and I believe was more looking at rotating the reservoir to give an outlet pipe aligned with the bike rather than offset outboard where air ends up if you drop it on the left. A couple of years ago i fitted a rizoma billet reservoir and have had no issues at all, apart from these rear brakes are very hard to fully bleed. used same location at the moment but is outboard not inboard so had to shorten hose to about half length. I think it looks great and as a well designed reservoir the exit is central. I did post some pictures but if you pm me your e-mail address I can e-mail them direct to you for posting as i do not have the necessary means to post directly onto here since my daughter left home. rizoma is small, black, well built and i will not change back but there are a lot of people saying dont do it. for £15 it was the best simple change i have made aprt from loosing the horn under the tank.

Thanks Mountainman that was the thread I was referring to. I have a mate who had a brake problem with a 2003 model and his was fixed after relocating it higher up the frame.
